EVP and Chief Operating Officer

James Hegar is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Producers Midstream, bringing broad experience across engineering, operations, marketing, and business development within the midstream energy sector. He leads the company’s operational strategy and execution, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance across all assets.

Prior to joining Producers, James served as Vice President of Engineering at E2 Energy Services, where he oversaw engineering design, project execution, and technical strategy. He also held multiple Director-level roles at PVR Midstream and Regency Energy Partners, contributing to the development and optimization of systems across several basins.

James earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University.
